Set up auto-lock and your security PIN

Auto-lock matters most where devices are shared or used in public spaces.

   Open security settings

   Set your six-digit PIN. Obvious sequences are rejected.

   Choose an inactivity timeout

   A countdown warning appears before locking, so you are never cut off mid-sentence.

   Know your recovery path

   After repeated failed PIN attempts you can recover with your account password, and the event is logged.
