Recipients need no account, but password, expiry and download rules are still enforced.

Create the link
Choose share on any file or folder in Drive.

Add a password
The recipient must enter it before the file is shown. Send it by a different channel to the link.

Set an expiry and download limit
Time-box every external share. A one-off delivery can also be limited to a single download.

Revoke when finished
Revocation takes effect immediately and the link stops resolving.
Good to know
- Share pages are never indexed by search engines and use unguessable tokens.
